If you’re planning to do an MCA (Master of Computer Applications) in Maharashtra, the very first step is MAH MCA CET. It’s a state-level entrance exam that decides your admission to MCA courses in top government, private, and autonomous colleges.
The exam is conducted every year by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra, and it’s the only official way to get a seat in reputed MCA colleges in cities like Pune, Mumbai, and Nagpur.
✅ Who Can Apply for MAH MCA CET?
You’re eligible if you meet these conditions:
✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream
- You should have completed (or be in the final year of) a B.Sc., B.Com, BA, BCA, or any equivalent degree.
- Minimum 50% marks for open category students.
- Minimum 45% marks for reserved category students (SC/ST/OBC in Maharashtra).
✔ Mathematics Requirement
- You must have Mathematics as a subject in 12th standard OR at least one semester during graduation.
- If you didn’t have Maths anywhere, you’re not eligible.
✔ Final-Year Students Can Apply
- If you’re in the last year of graduation and waiting for results, you can still appear for the exam.
